Sian R. Sairo. The Managing Partner, is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Governance expert, a Business Coach, a Trainer and a Recording artist and a mother.
She holds a Bachelors of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, a Masters degree in International Corporate and Commercial Law from Karnatak University and Master of Science in Governance, Peace and Security from the African Nazarene University.
She is also the Head of Strategy at Sairo Law Global, which is the Governance and Policy wing of the firm specializing in the areas of policy reforms and civic education. She spearheads the YouTube channel by the same name, “Sairo Law Global” which demystifies the Law for the General Public.
She comes with exceptional experience in civil, criminal and commercial litigation, training, policy formulation and corporate governance. She believes in empowering communities through access to information, mentorship and sound leadership.
Claudio Mutua is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Claudio has diverse experience in fields of law that range from prosecution of corporate crimes, to legal advisory and litigation.
Claudio has served as a pupil at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and as a legal officer at the (now defunct) Churchblaze Group.
He is currently also a legal officer and research fellow at Institute of Liberty and Policy Innovation (ILAPI), a pan-African Ghanaian-based thinktank.
Vellah Kedogo Kigwiru, the Commercial Law and Policy Consultant, is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a Bachelors of Law and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi.
She currently a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich’s (TUM) School of Governance and a Guest Researcher, Marx Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Munich Germany.
She is conducting a PhD research on ‘Regional Regulation of Market Competition in Africa’ focusing on the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) competition regime as a case study in a comparative analysis with the European Union.
Kigwiru’s research interests focuses on competition law and policy; technology and innovation; international economic law; trade law; regional integration; human rights; and legal research methods.
She has recently published with the Manchester Journal of International Economic Law and the African Journal of International Economic Law. She is also a contributing editor at AfronomicsLaw, an author at Competition Policy International blog and a researcher at the UNCTAD Research Partnership Platform on competition policy.
Previously she worked as a legal analyst at the Competition Authority of Kenya.
